# AWS

We selected AWS as our cloud infrastructure provider because AWS is quite simply the most advanced service provider in the market. They highly secure, innovative, scalable, elastic, robust, adaptable, truly global and are well priced.&#x20;

As the most dominant and mature provider, AWS has witnessed many hackers’ tactics, every time acting swiftly to stay ahead of them and implementing any changes needed as hacks advance. This experience has resulted in excellent security tooling and knowledge resources. The AWS platform has built and cemented its scope and maturity over time, allowing their customers to focus on their business and leave the security part to them. The platform also provides the ability to default to secure configurations. For instance, when you deploy an instance onto a virtual network, network access restrictions come into play.

It avails most crucial security functionalities, including security event triggers, API activity monitoring, WAF, threat Intel, vulnerability assessment, and many others. The granular IAM and security groups (firewalls) are some of the features that make it stand out from the pack.

Since AWS’s cost is modified based on the customers’ usage, start-ups and small businesses (such as us now) see the obvious benefits of using Amazon for their computing needs. In fact, AWS is great for building a business from the bottom as it provides all the tools necessary for companies to start up with the cloud.&#x20;

As we grow, AWS provides resources to aid in our expansion because AWS allows for flexible usage, MetaVersusWorld will never need to spend time thinking about whether or not we need to reexamine our computing usage.&#x20;

AWS is much more secure than a company hosting its own website or storage. AWS currently has dozens of data centers across the globe that are continuously monitored and strictly maintained. The diversification of the data centers ensures that a disaster striking one region doesn’t cause permanent data loss worldwide. AWS keeps its data centers as hidden as possible, locating them in out-of-the-way locations and allowing access only on an essential basis.

The data centers and all the data contained therein are safe from intrusions, and, with Amazon’s experience in cloud services, outages and potential attacks can be quickly identified and easily remedied, 24 hours a day. <br>
